North Harbour Diving

What

The Club was first established in 2004 and caters for beginners through to national level competitive divers. The divers train for two hours at a time beginning with dry land training. This allows them to work on their technique and gymnastic abilities which they can then transfer to their pool training. North Harbour Diving is part of Auckland Diving.

Who

They train beginners through to competitive divers. Children can start from as young as 6 years of age, as long as they are confident swimming in deep water.

When

The training sessions are held on various days, including Saturdays and Sundays, depending on the child’s level of diving. Those interested in diving are welcome to come along to the Sunday sessions from 3 – 5pm at the Glenfield Leisure Centre.

Where

Training is done at both the Westwave Aquatic Centre in Henderson and at the Glenfield Leisure Centre, Downing Street, Glenfield (take the Northcote Road exit off the Northern Motorway)
